DIY Ointment for Cracked Heels

 This Recipe Has The Benefits Of Shea Butter

Shea butter penetrates deeply to help heal cracked skin on the heels or hands. It’s a terrific remedy for people who work outdoors. Apply a generous amount of this ointment, then cover your feet with cotton socks overnight, you’ll soon see amazing results. So easy to make and works better than most store bought treatments, plus its all natural.


You'll Need:


1.8 oz. (50 g) shea butter
10 drops cypress essential oil
10 drops tea tree essential oil (see Tip)


Directions:

In a saucepan, heat shea butter over low heat just until completely melted. Stir in cypress and tea tree essential oils. Pour mixture into a small glass jar. Seal tightly. Let cool. 


Tip: Tea tree essential oil has potent antibacterial and antifungal powers. It is an excellent addition to this ointment because it keeps painful cracks from becoming infected and inflamed
